CARES will only be offered at 4 schools this year – Shawsheen Elementary, Woburn Street Elementary, North Intermediate and West Intermediate.

CARES REGISTRATION OPENS THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 3^rd and CLOSES TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8^th.

All families will be placed on a waitlist and will be accepted based on the priority level given. No payment will be due at that time.

Preference is given to WPS employees, long-standing CARES families, and families that work outside the home.

• Please carefully choose the correct Cohort that you have been assigned by the district (Cohort A or Cohort B). You may choose mornings, afternoons or both.
• You must sign up for the 2 day Cohort session (i.e. you cannot register for Monday but not Thursday).
• Wednesday Remote Day is ONLY available to students already enrolled in 1 of the Cohort sessions.

CARES tentatively will begin coverage on Thursday, September 17^th during the phase-in period. The Wednesday Remote Day coverage will begin once the full cohorts of students are attending, tentatively Wednesday, September 30^th.

REGISTRATION TIMELINE: ON THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 10^th – families that have been accepted will be notified by email. You have until SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12^th to make payment (registration fee and first installment). If you fail to do so, on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13^th the next family on the waitlist will be notified and offered the spot.

SPACE is extremely limited. Please only sign up if you need CARES as of the start of school. We anticipate more openings as guidelines change and more students are able to attend school in-person.

RATES are listed below. There will be 9 installments this year, payments due the first of the month and are NON-REFUNDABLE. (First payment covers Sept & Oct. Next payment will be due Nov. 1)
